Seems I'm posting more rants than fics here lately... sheesh...


But I'm rather irritated right now regarding people who don't like slash deliberately clicking on stories labelled with slash warnings just to leave disparaging ANONYMOUS remarks about the fic and the author

Incase I'm not making myself perfectly clear, let me restate again:

I WRITE SLASH... I WRITE SLASH, FEMSLASH, HET, TWINCEST, HUMAN/BOT, HOLOS, AND BOTS AS HUMANS GETTING IT ON

in addition to fluff and gen stuff, and just about everything that piques my interest... the only thing I don't write is robot-sticky, because I have squicks too.

The thing is, if I don't like it I DONT READ IT. I DO NOT go click on it just so I can call the author stupid and say OMG THIS STORY IS TEH EBIL. I give clear warnings on my fics about what the inside content is without trying to spoil the story itself. This is so people who don't like it will not be exposed to it. I don't type up warnings to decorate my page or because I have nothing else to do.

If you choose to ignore the warnings and still read the fic and you find something you don't like, you either click on the 'BACK' button or the 'X' button. I'm not tying you down, forcing your eyes open and making you read it.

And as for the OOC excuse... Slash is no more OOC-fying than a badly-written het fic with a Mary Sue or her male counterpart. OOC lies in the skill of the author, not the character's sexual orientation for crying out loud, so it's a pretty shitty excuse.

So if after this people still try to be smart and leave stupid comments to fics they read knowing full well they don't like the content, I am going to tell you to Fuck Off and Die.

It has come to my attention that recently there's been an influx of people who, when it seems there is a need for a rapist amongst the Autobots, automatically pick Tracks as the mech of choice.

Yes, you read that right... Tracks is a rapist.

In the couple of fics that I've had the unfortunate chance of reading, Tracks has successfully raped Jazz (yes, Jazz) while assaulting Ratchet, (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4185262/1/Extensive_Damage - in all, the author's written about three Tracks rapes Jazz fics)

and in the most recent one, has plans to rape a young-officer Prowl.

Pardon me while I go WHAT. THE. FRAG?!

TRACKS?! REALLY?! SERIOUSLY?!

No, really... It's fine and dandy if you want to give Tracks an edgier/darker side, but as far as I'm concerned, Tracks with a darker side essentially = Sunstreaker. I'm sorry, but unless this is some AU/Mirrorverse Tracks, I just cant wrap my head around how someone who would prefer to solve conflicts peacefully would actually feel the need to go out there and rape someone - particularly a senior officer.

Honestly folks, you really CAN write characters shagging each other WITHOUT having them be grossly OOC.

I blame this one on bunnies high on crack, and interesting experimentation during MSN and/or YIM RPing. No I wont be subjecting anyone to RP logs or even an adaptation of them, I'm not that cruel... hence why I signed up for the 10_passions challenge.

Why the frag can't I write?! I look at the calendar on the left and I'm disgusted. My last fic-post was 11th FEBRUARY! Over two frikken months ago!

You'd think that now that I dont have to deal with school essays and what not anymore, that the ideas would be flowing like water. HA! If ideas were water, then my brain's been having a drought for the last two months.

It's not that I dont want to write for TF anymore - I DO - but I'm out of ideas... and the few that I do make a baby start on usually wither and die after the first page. What the hell is wrong?! I want to write something!

And I have a whole stack of back-logged fic that I want to finish and post, but every time I pull up one to try and continue, I just draw a blank and end up staring at the page for an hour, or I go off and do something else. Guh... I miss those days when I could churn out multi-chapter fics in a matter of weeks.

I want to do another epic adventure story or something, along the vein of Hit It Maestro or such... but yeah... no ideas left.

I don't know... there are a bunch of unfinished fics that have been sitting in my hard drive for years. I don't know if I'm ever going to finish them, which has me wondering - should I just post up the unfinished stuff for people to at least read what IS there, or continue to let them rot in the folder?

You tell me, people...

One of my favorite musical groups - Secret Garden - just released a new album. They're normally known for their Celtic-classical instrumental pieces, however, in this album, they've added lyrics to songs both old and new.

This particular track is an old one, that won them the Eurovision Song Contest back in 1995. It's now re-released on their new album with full lyrics for the entire song. This, and a companion song both hit me with bunnies rather hard.

This is what happens on a lazy, boring afternoon, when Jo is bored and has an equally bored headspace... been thinking it through, and since the Autobot Cassettes look like they'll be staying around and ruling the brain on a permanent basis... and since I also feel the need to give them more exposure than they already get on this one pathetic little journal... and oh yes, since there are a couple more people out there writing Autobot Cassette fic now (or at least Steeljaw fic - yes, I'm looking at you huntingospray)

Well I figure, why the hell not just give them their own LJ community?

Thing is... if I do give them one... will folks be willing to contribute stuff to it?

I mean, lets face it, they aren't exactly ProwlxJazz to get a watchlist of over 100 members, but I'd dearly like to give them something because they're just so sweet and fun to write for (erm... except for the cross-faction slash, I'm sorry, Bot-tape/Con-tape just does not work for me, neither does Eject/Rewind.... they're both going "eewww" as we speak)

Anyways... what does the f-list think? If I go for it, will there be content that doesn't come from just me?
